The wheel’s second chance at history!

The Kikkerland Solar Wheel is a testament to that first great invention. As a starting point for technological marvels, the Wheel showed that humans were on the hot track to great things when that caveman rolled that first round rock around. And while the Solar Wheel may not be as revolutionary as THE Wheel, we think you’ll agree that it’s pretty cool. It’s a solar-powered rotary wheel filled with colored liquid and glitter that makes for quite a visual display.

Powered by either a flood lamp or the sun itself, the Solar Wheel turns round and round, shifting the colored liquid and glitter around, as it drops from top to bottom like colorful drops of shimmering rain. It might seem odd: a solar-powered object made for creating colorful rain, but who would’ve thought a rounded stone, made to traverse terrain easier could have such a substantial impact?
