TIX Clock

Can you tell me the time?

Some people are afraid of the unknown. Some people are afraid of time. At first blush, the Tix Clock may not be the best choice for such people. But for all the Xenophobic or Chronophobic folks out there, the Tix Clock might be just what they’re looking for to overcome their fears because once they figure out the secret to this fun little puzzle of a clock, they'll be so taken back that they'll see there's really nothing to fear...unless they're afriad of exceptional design, too.

The Tix Clock uses LEDs to display the time in an ever-changing display that can be extremely complicated to the untrained eye. But once you understand that the lights in one group determine the value of that digit, you will be able to tell the time as easy as if you were looking at any digital clock. But, as the display of the Tix Clock is animated and will keep changing, you still may be confused by the thousands of possible combinations that will turn up. But fear not, if you desire, you can switch the display to remain static to make it a little easier to decode.

The Tix Clock is sure to confound your friends, especially those fascinated by shining and blinking objects. And to make it even more fun, if they ever do find out what all of the lights mean, you can switch it up on them by rotating the Tix Clock to a vertical position—it will still read the same to you but it may alter their perception of reality and, indeed, scramble their brains.
