It’s a helicopter! It’s a giant mosquito! No! It’s Pinticuda, another peculiar wind-up from designer Chico Bicalho.

Pinticuda looks like a horrifying robotic alien insect come to earth from another dimension to wreak havoc on the human race for no good reason because that would be the plot of some no good B-Grade Sci-Fi film. But Pinticuda doesn’t mean any harm. In fact, it is here to liberate you, in a way, as it offers you a fine distraction from the everyday tedium that is your life by performing its own unique jig which it dances upon any flat surface you can find.

Wind Pinticuda’s propeller as you would any clock and behold as it throws a hissy fit. It begins hopping up and down like a spoiled child denied a candy bar at the checkout line. You can also manipulate Pinticuda’s wire legs to make for a strange kind of metal insect tap-dance recital.
